Who we are
A Reel a Day is a subscription web app run by Nirahlee Inc., a Florida corporation based in Palm Coast, Florida (parent site: nirahlee.dev). In this policy, "we" and "us" mean Nirahlee Inc. "You" means the person or business using A Reel a Day. The service is for businesses, and it is not for children under 13.
The short version
- We collect only what we need to run the service.
- We do not sell your personal data.
- We use one sign-in cookie. No advertising or tracking cookies.
- We never see or store your social media passwords or your full card number.
- You can download your files and ask us to delete your account and data at any time.
What we collect
- Account details: your name and email address, and your business name and type.
- Your content: the video clips you upload, the hooks and captions you approve, and the text you give us about your business.
- Posting details: your posting schedule and the names of the social accounts you connect.
- Post performance: statistics about how your posts do, such as views and likes, sent back to us from the networks.
- Billing status: whether you are subscribed and when your plan renews. We do not receive your card number.
- Basic server logs: technical records such as your IP address, browser type and the time of each request, used to keep the service secure and working.
How we sign you in
You sign in with Google or with an emailed one-time sign-in link. We do not use passwords. If you use Google, we receive only your basic profile: your name, email address and Google profile ID. We use Google for sign-in and nothing else.
How we use your information
- To run the service: store your clips, suggest hooks and captions, combine your clips and our music into reels, and post them on your schedule.
- To show you how your posts are performing.
- To bill you and manage your subscription.
- To email you sign-in links and important notices about your account.
- To keep the service safe, fix problems and answer your support requests.
Who helps us run the service
We share information only with the companies that help us provide the service, and only as needed for that job:
- Cloudflare: hosting, our database, file storage and email delivery.
- Stripe: payments. Stripe handles your card details. We never see your full card number.
- Google: sign-in only, as described above.
- Upload-Post: connects your social accounts, publishes your posts and returns post statistics.
- An AI model provider: we send it your business information and the text you provide so it can write hook and caption suggestions.
When you connect Instagram, TikTok, YouTube or Facebook, you do it on that network's own sign-in screen. Once your reels are posted, they are also subject to that network's own privacy policy.
We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect the safety and rights of our users or ourselves.
Cookies
We use one cookie, which keeps you signed in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
How long we keep things
- Free preview: if you try the service without paying, your uploaded preview files are deleted after 14 days.
- While you are subscribed: your clips are kept as a reusable library so you can build more mixes.
- After you cancel: we keep your files for 30 days so you can download them, then we delete them.
- Deletion on request: you can ask us to delete your account and data at any time.
We may keep a few records longer when we have to, for example billing records for tax or legal reasons, and basic logs for security.
Your choices
- Download your clips and finished reels any time from your account.
- Disconnect a social account, or switch a mix between review-first and autopilot, whenever you like.
- Cancel your plan from the account page.
- Ask us to correct or delete your information by emailing support@areeladay.com.
Security
We use reputable providers and sensible safeguards to protect your information. No online service can promise perfect security, but we take it seriously and will tell you if something happens that affects your data, as the law requires.
Children
A Reel a Day is for businesses and is not meant for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you think a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. If the change is significant, we will email you or post a notice in the app.
